Terms of service
Effective October 8, 2026 ยท Updated October 2026
Using this website
These terms are effective October 8, 2026, and apply to your use of this website and to calls you make to JV Plumbing. By using the site or calling us, you agree to them. The site is here to give general information about plumbing problems and the services we provide in southeast Houston. Nothing on it is a quote, a diagnosis of your home, or an offer to do work at a set price. The guides describe typical situations, and your house may differ.
You may read, print and share pages for personal use. Please don't copy the site's text or images for commercial use without asking first.
Calling us and returning calls
We take work by phone only. When you call, you agree that we may call or text you back at the number you give us about your request, including arrival updates, questions about the job and follow-up after the work. We won't use that number for unrelated marketing. If you'd rather we stop contacting you once a job is finished, tell us and we will.
Call recording
Where applicable, calls may be recorded so we can confirm the details of your request and train the people who answer. When a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start, and staying on the line means you agree to the recording. Our privacy statement explains how recordings are kept.
When a call is forwarded
We answer 24/7, but there are nights when demand outruns the plumbers available: the busiest nights, the hours after a storm or a freeze, or when every plumber is already on a job. As a courtesy, so you are not left waiting, a call at those times may be forwarded to another trusted local plumbing provider.
That provider is a separate business. It sets its own availability, pricing and terms, and any work it does is agreed between you and that provider. Before any work starts, confirm the provider's licensing and insurance and get its price for the job. JV Plumbing is not responsible for work done by another provider.
Pricing and estimates
Prices are given after a plumber inspects the problem, and you approve the price before the work begins. If the job changes once work is underway, for example a second leak turns up or a line is worse than testing showed, we stop and explain the change before going further.
Any cost figures on this website are planning ranges drawn from public sources. They are meant to help you budget and are not quotes for your home. Payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Scheduling and access
Arrival windows are estimates based on where plumbers are and what they are working on, and traffic, weather or an earlier job running long can change them. We will let you know if a window moves. Please make sure someone 18 or older is present to let us in and approve the work, that pets are secured, and that we can reach the area we need, such as the water heater closet, attic access or cleanout. For rentals, the tenant or owner should confirm who may authorize work.
Limits on website content
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it is provided as general information and may contain errors or go out of date. Relying on it is your decision. To the extent the law allows, JV Plumbing is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from relying on website content, from a repair you attempt yourself, or from the site being unavailable. Shutting off water, gas or electricity is your call to make, and when in doubt, leave the house and call for help.
Links to other sites
The site may link to or load content from other services, such as Google Maps when you choose to view the map, and public sources cited in our guides. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and the version posted when you call or use the site is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Harris County, Texas. Questions about these terms can be asked by calling the number shown on this page.
