Emergency & Leak Repair (6)
Leaks, bursts and gas: the calls that can't wait
This group covers water, sewage or gas that is already escaping. A split line in the attic, a meter dial turning with every faucet closed, a warm patch of floor tile, a soggy strip of lawn over the service line, or a hiss behind the range. Call the moment you notice. If water is moving, we talk you through closing the main while a plumber heads out. The clay under southeast Houston slabs shrinks and swells with dry and wet spells, which is a big part of why slab leaks and hidden leak hunts are routine work here.

- Emergency PlumberBurst lines, sewage backups and no water at 2 a.m. get a call back fast.
- Burst Pipe RepairSplit copper, blown PEX fittings and freeze-cracked lines cut out and replaced.
- Leak DetectionAcoustic and pressure testing to find a hidden leak before anyone cuts drywall.
- Slab Leak RepairHot spots in the floor and a meter that never stops, located and repaired.
- Water Line RepairLeaking service line between the meter and the house dug, repaired and tested.
- Gas Leak RepairGas smell, hissing fittings or a red-tagged meter handled the right way.
Drains & Sewer Lines (10)
Drains and sewer lines, from one slow sink to the main
Start here when water goes down slowly, gurgles, or comes back up somewhere it shouldn't. One slow fixture usually means a local clog that a cable clears. Several fixtures backing up at once, or water rising in the tub when the washer drains, points to the main line. Older cast iron drains under postwar slabs can crack and scale with age, so a camera inspection often comes before any digging. From there the fix might be cleaning, a spot repair, a lining, or a full sewer line replacement. We'll tell you which one the footage supports.

- Drain CleaningKitchen, bathroom and laundry drains cleared with the right cable for the pipe.
- Main Sewer Line CleaningBackups in more than one fixture cleared at the cleanout, roots included.
- Hydro JettingHigh-pressure water scours grease, scale and roots off the pipe wall.
- Sewer Camera InspectionA recorded camera run that shows breaks, bellies and roots before anyone digs.
- Sewer Line RepairOne cracked, offset or root-broken section dug and replaced, not the whole run.
- Sewer Line ReplacementA failed house-to-tap sewer line replaced with new PVC and a proper cleanout.
- Trenchless Sewer RepairPipe lining or bursting through small access pits instead of a long trench.
- Under-Slab Drain RepairBroken drains under the foundation reached by tunneling or a targeted floor cut.
- Sewer Cleanout InstallationA two-way cleanout added so the next clog is cleared without pulling a toilet.
- Sewer Smell & Vent RepairSewer gas odor traced to dry traps, failed wax rings or a broken roof vent.
Water Heaters (7)
Water heaters: tank, tankless and heat pump
Call about a water heater when the hot water runs short, smells off, rumbles, or shows rust or water at the base. Houston's city water averages about 135 ppm hardness, which leaves scale in tanks and tankless heat exchangers over time, so a flush or a descale fixes more problems than people expect. A leaking tank body cannot be patched. A bad thermostat, element, gas valve or igniter usually can. If you are replacing anyway, that is the moment to look at tankless or heat pump options. Gas or electric, we work on both.

- Water Heater RepairNo hot water, pilot trouble or a leaking valve fixed on tank heaters, gas or electric.
- Water Heater ReplacementA worn-out tank swapped for a new gas or electric unit, hauled away the same visit.
- Tankless Water Heater InstallationGas tankless units sized for the house, with the gas line and venting to match.
- Tankless Water Heater RepairError codes, cold-water sandwiches and scaled heat exchangers diagnosed and fixed.
- Heat Pump Water Heater InstallationHybrid electric units that pull heat from the air, installed with a proper drain.
- Water Heater Flush & MaintenanceSediment flushed, anode checked and the relief valve tested before trouble starts.
- Hot Water Recirculation PumpHot water at the far bathroom in seconds instead of a minute of running tap.
Kitchen, Bath & Fixtures (10)
Faucets, toilets, showers and remodel plumbing
These are the parts of the plumbing you touch every day: faucets and cartridges, toilets and fill valves, shower valves, disposals, sinks and the hookups behind the washer, dishwasher and fridge. Most of these jobs are short visits, and many are a repair rather than a replacement once we see which part failed. Planning a bigger change? Bathroom and kitchen remodel plumbing covers moving drains and supply lines, new valve bodies, and the rough-in your tile setter or cabinet installer needs to build on. We also handle outdoor hose bibs that drip or split.

- Faucet Repair & InstallationDrips, low flow and loose handles repaired, or a new faucet set and sealed.
- Toilet RepairRunning, rocking, leaking or clogged toilets fixed the same day.
- Toilet InstallationNew toilets set on a fresh flange with a new supply line and a level seal.
- Shower Valve RepairShower that drips, scalds or will not hold temperature, fixed at the valve.
- Garbage Disposal Repair & InstallationJammed, humming or leaking disposals freed, repaired or replaced.
- Sink InstallationKitchen, bathroom and utility sinks set, plumbed and leak-tested.
- Appliance Plumbing HookupsDishwashers, ice makers and washing machines connected without a slow leak.
- Outdoor Faucet RepairLeaking hose bibs and frozen spigots repaired or swapped for frost-free valves.
- Bathroom Remodel PlumbingRough-in moves, new valves, drains and fixture sets for a bathroom remodel.
- Kitchen Remodel PlumbingRelocated sinks, island drains, pot fillers and appliance lines for a new kitchen.
Repiping, Gas & Water Treatment (13)
Repiping, gas lines, pressure and water treatment
This group deals with the pipe network itself and what flows through it. Gray polybutylene from the late 1970s through the mid 1990s, galvanized steel in older homes, and copper with repeated pinholes all end up as repipe candidates. Gas line work covers new runs for ranges, dryers, generators and tankless heaters, plus the pressure test a red-tagged meter needs before service comes back. For the water itself, we install softeners for hardness and carbon or reverse osmosis filtration for the chloramine taste. Low pressure everywhere often traces to a failing PRV.

- Whole-House RepipingGalvanized, failing copper or patched lines replaced with new PEX or copper.
- Polybutylene Pipe ReplacementGray plastic supply pipe from the 1980s and early 1990s removed and replaced.
- Water Line ReplacementA new service line from the meter to the house, sized for today's fixtures.
- Water Pressure RepairLow or banging-high pressure fixed at the regulator, the main or the fixture.
- Main Shut-Off Valve ReplacementA seized or leaking main valve replaced so the water actually turns off.
- Smart Water Shut-Off InstallationAn automatic valve on the main that closes when sensors find water on the floor.
- Gas Line InstallationNew gas runs for ranges, dryers, tankless heaters, generators and outdoor kitchens.
- Gas Line Pressure TestPressure testing that gets gas service restored after a leak or a shut-off.
- Water Softener InstallationA softener plumbed with a bypass and drain so hard water stops scaling fixtures.
- Whole-House Water FiltrationCarbon filtration at the main to take the chloramine taste out of every tap.
- Reverse Osmosis SystemUnder-sink drinking water filtration with its own faucet and ice maker line.
- Backflow TestingAnnual testing of backflow assemblies with the paperwork the water department asks for.
- Backflow Preventer InstallationNew or replacement backflow assemblies for sprinklers, fire lines and businesses.
Commercial, Inspections & New Work (6)
Commercial, inspections and new construction
Restaurants, offices, retail spaces and rental owners call us for the same failures homeowners get, just with more fixtures and less tolerance for downtime. That includes commercial water heaters, grease traps, restroom repairs and backflow work. This group also holds the testing jobs: a hydrostatic test before foundation repair or a sale, and a full plumbing inspection for buyers. New construction plumbing covers underground, rough-in and top-out on new homes and additions. We can schedule commercial work after closing so the doors stay open. Backflow assemblies need testing every year.

- Commercial PlumbingRestrooms, kitchens and tenant spaces kept running for businesses and landlords.
- Commercial Water Heater ServiceLarge-capacity and high-recovery heaters repaired or replaced to keep a business open.
- Grease Trap Installation & RepairUnder-sink and in-ground grease traps installed, repaired and kept draining.
- Plumbing InspectionA full check of supply, drains, gas and the water heater for buyers and owners.
- Hydrostatic Plumbing TestUnder-slab drain testing for foundation repair, home sales and suspected drain leaks.
- New Construction PlumbingUnderground, rough-in and top-out plumbing for new homes and additions.

Questions
Questions about our plumbing services
Call anyway and describe it. Most plumbing trouble fits one of these pages once we know where the water is going or where it isn't. If it turns out to be a job outside plumbing, we'll tell you that on the phone instead of sending a truck. Leaks you can hear but not see, a smell with no obvious source and pressure that changes by the hour are all fair game for a phone call.
Yes. Most jobs start as a repair question. We test first, show you the failed part, and only bring up replacement when the repair would not hold up, like a tank that is leaking from the shell or a line with leaks in several places. When both are reasonable, like an aging tank heater with a bad gas valve, you get the price of each and the tradeoffs, and you make the call.
Usually. If you have a dripping faucet and a slow tub drain, tell us both when you call so the plumber brings the parts and cables for each. Bigger jobs, like a repipe or sewer replacement, get scheduled separately. A camera inspection or a hydrostatic test can also ride along with a repair visit when the plumber is already there.
We look first, then give you the price for the work before it starts. The cost figures on our service pages are planning ranges from public sources, not quotes, because the same job can differ a lot from one house to the next. If something changes once the work is underway, we stop and talk it through with you before going further.
We do. That covers leak repair, new lines for appliances, and the pressure test CenterPoint needs before it can fully turn gas back on after a red tag. If you smell gas right now, leave the house first and call from outside. New gas runs for a range, dryer or tankless heater get sized for the appliance load and pressure tested before the gas goes on.
The trade is the same, but the scheduling changes. We can work before opening or after closing, and we plan the shut-off around your business so a restroom or kitchen is down for as little time as the job allows. For restaurants, we can also clear grease lines on a schedule before they back up during a dinner rush.
